harley04
The core of the problem is disharmony on coaching staff, There are 3 former Head Coaches and don't think they all can get on same page. It shows on the field. With all the problems this year this is the year to get that monkey off your back, Maybe tenn can do the same in the swamp. crow
It seems like it took Vic King retiring for Scott to finally beat Kingston. If Benny Hammonds is still at GP, I wouldn't count on a win for Oneida. If he's no longer coaching, well....maybe. Ok.

Oneida's biggest advantage will be being the disciplined team on the field! I've watched our film twice and I can see what Harley means about problems with the coaches...The uncalled for cheap shots and CRAP that I saw over and over (usually with no flag) is not only a chance to end a player's career but usually, always, shows problems amongst a coaching staff. If there wasn't a problem within the staff, a player (D1 or not) would be sidelined for the bull I witnessed. Oneida has a good shot at the W. harley04
When Benny was in charge his teams would run thur a brick wall for him, even today players from 25 yrs ago if he said drop an give me 10. 90 % would. Lee pretty much runs this team. There is alot to Head Coaching from winning the hall way to getting everyone to buy in its not that easy. Lets hope he can get it done. A loss of this magnitude can do one of 2 things to a team, it can destroy um or bring um together to get better. I think that depends on the leadership. If this were Hampton, I'd say the kids would pay the price and be better off for it. The Oneida game will be very telling.

Really impressed with the big lineman, reckon we could borrow him a week or 2.
kazam37
I'm fried......that missed FG by Midway was about a foot and a half short. I know all too well if you play with fire, you get burnt. You can't make a living by winning 1 point ball games, but it is certainly better than losing by 2.....! With that big old club on #40's hand it is interesting if the coaching staff will scoot him over on offense to strengthen the line? He does have two good looking TE's backing him up. Bam was inserted into the backfield twice Friday and converted a big 4th and 2. Like most RB's, he got to tote a few to get into a flow on offense. Smart letting him heal up some but boy we missed the hammer Friday. Looks promising that he will be back in the line up for this one. I'm gonna kinda watch and listen this week because the chit chat isn't going to stoke me much. The JuJu Hut will be fine for the week but five games in I'm going to need some R and R. kazam37
If I take too much R and R this thread is gonna go to page 3 right quick. Two proud programs are set to determine their course for the second half of the season. I'm sure neither wants to go deeper in the hole. kazam37
What's up Crow, you still cleaning up Space Mountain. I might want to have that Horn Dog back from Texas.....Yeah, Smash that would be you. Spike has suddenly gone into the grid? I guess we must all be so quiet because we afraid we might set off a 4 alarm fire. Really it simple, block, tackle, run, catch, throw....etc. everybody does it. I have long since passed resembling anything close to a football player (come to think of it, I didn't much look like one in my playing days), but I do know this: If your heart is in it, then you can get it done on the field. Heck, have fun, but truck someone on your way to the party. There is enough there to git'er done....! Kazanadoom

Kazanadoom That GP unit will have plenty of fire and it will appear as if you have personally offended them when they walk on and off the field....Won't matter if you're quiet or not....SO, WEAR IT OUT! Guest Fall101
I just don't know what to say about this one. I feel like it's kinda like the Vols game this weekend. At some point we have to get that monkey off our back and beat these guys. I am feeling pretty good about this one though. If we try to beat them with the run I am afraid we may be fighting an uphill battle. I believe we should have Bam Bam back this week which will help. I hope we can get some passes off and the receivers help out our QB and catch the ball. I see this bein a 14-21 pt ball game if we do all the things we have to do and execute on offense. We were pretty bad on O last week. If we can loosin them up just enough to get some big yards on the ground I believe we will finally get that 1st W against ole Benny!
