I was hoping someone from DB would post since you've seen us both. Big #9 caught several balls Friday night so we may be turning him loose. Thanks for your perspective. Also since we played DB we have had a freshman emerge as a big play threat. He's tiny but he can fly. I'll bet he's the fastest player on the field every time we play.

I don't think he will be faster then Dorian Banks.

Yeah and West isn't typically known as a passing team, although this year it's better than years past. But, they better play a lot better than that Friday night. Our secondary also has their hands full, but we will put Tee on their top receiver. Tee hasn't had over a 10 yard completion on him all year. Not only is he a great WR, but he's a lockdown corner.

Sevier County don't just have a Top Receiver. Deuce is very good at spreading the wealth. Also I do like seeing Dorian Banks flank out to receiver some. They did that against Mo. East. Might be some wrinkle they are bringing to the mix. LOVE IT!!

Have you gotten ahold of Jimmy Gaylor yet? Just remember, Kevin Catlett is still on the market, too!

That reminds me....I'm going to ask 92Dragon about that if I see him at the AC game Friday. Gaylor was gone when I went to Clinton. But I've heard nothing but good things about the man. Catlett on the other hand. Thanks but no thanks. Haha

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
