I'm going with Harriman in this one. Both teams want to do the same thing on offense, grind it out. If the refs don't get in the way, this one could be over by 8:30! Oneida needs to prove something this week. They may just do it. Until the coaching staff gets away from just trying to score 14 and hold the other team to 7, it will be tough getting thru the region and playoffs. Gotta be a better way guys. Again, no disrespect, just sharing an outside opinion.

Either way, great place to play and great small town tradition on both sides. For the record, I like Oneida more than I do Harriman (sorry blue).

Pride I will agree with you! Except I got the Indians winning. It scares me thinkin bout just scoring enough to get by and tryin to play D and win the game. Our D is good but it's gonna take some offense and points to win these next couple weeks!

I agree we have to find a way to score more points but as I've said over and over again this cannot be laid off on coaching. Let's look at it. We have made significant play calling changes in the running game to this point based on what simply didn't work earlier this year (both formations and specific play calling). Sure we still run some plays that really aren't major producers but with the wing T you have to run certain plays a couple times a game to keep the D honest for others. We are averaging passing 15-20 times per game even though we continue to see drops like crazy however that is getting better. Finally, maybe it's time we simply said it out loud, maybe we're not a great football team this year. Yes we have talent, yes we have great coaches, yes our defense is playing pretty well but we are not scoring much on anybody. Every team will have up and down years, maybe this is just a down year, can't be better than last year every season. Eventually gotta drop down a notch or two for a bit.

Pride I can assure you scoring 14 and playing defense is not by design lol.

Great post Crow! Hopefully our Indians will have a great week of practice and get a huge W Friday. These next 2 games are very critical.

I wasn't clear in my post. I left out part of what I was trying to say. So, here it is: It seems to me, as an outsider, that you guys have the athletes to score. Now, some of that responsibility has to lay on their shoulders to make plays (drops in the passing game). Some of its on the coaches too. It's an equal share. Bottom line is that plays have to be made when they are called. I'm just not a fan of trying to play defense to win a game. Gotta put points on the board or it will be an early November for the Indians.

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
