I appreciate that, Kermit.  Best of luck to you and yours as well.

Lurker, you're perspective is a gift to me today.  Thanks!

Here's a little bit more of my perspective...It doesn't matter a ton what Huntingdon does or doesn't have in the backfield this week vs. Bruceton.  Your line is unquestionably superior to theirs, and you have the speed in the secondary to catch 49 if he gets loose.  Bruceton's QB may be able to pass the ball on you a little when he stays upright.  But you can get to him using just your down linemen as rushers.  I actually see this one being pretty out of hand as long as Huntingdon takes care of the football.  Fumbles could slow you down.  But they wouldn't be enough to overcome that much parity in the trenches.  I predict a 6 score spread.  Maybe 56-14.

I wasn't too far off. Gave each team credit for one extra score than what they actually got. But I did nail the spread at 6 scores. Dummy from HC :)

Mustangs, Way to fight back and pick yourselves up from last week's adversity. Good win and Keaton slid into back field and did great job.

yes Bailey did well in the backfield. He and #3 are the Best to run the ball plus some cast members Williams and Norwood looks like the team may not miss a beat. I don't know about #8. He is having trouble hitting the hole. He wants to bounce it outside when there is a gashing hole. Go Mustangs

    • And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet, city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.
    • Sad deal. Hate it. So the coach that kicked her off is now fired??
    • Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
