The key to Fville's defense keeping SP in check will come down to the line of scrimmage. Fville def tackles have got to read the guards and keep them off the linebackers, the def ends have got to stay home and keep everything turned back inside. The outside backers have to make the tackles on the corners and the middle backers have to plug the middle. It all starts with the def tackles being able to block the guards, if they can't handle them one on one just cut their legs and make a pile!

Sounds easy doesn't it? Good luck

No most 1A HS QB's cannot, but the coaches can. We have burned teams before. Just saying.

I hear ya Mike... I do... but I just hope Fayetteville just doesn't set back clueless like mTp and let you run away it with your offense.

And it would be even hard for coaches to adjust with ever changing blitz packages and limited time seeing it before it comes.... It's hard even for the professionals... Manning just makes it look easy.

You honestly think a HS QB can be a Manning and pick out the Mike and tell whether the blitz will come from the safety presenting or the corner or the OLB in the last 5-10 seconds right before the snap?... And your line make all the right adjustments in knowing who to block? Not to mention the backfield changing and picking up their block assignment in who does show up as blitzing. Do they know who is coming and who isn't?

My hats off to you....

All in all it still throws one off their game. Fayetteville shouldn't show it right away and give you 15 seconds or so to adjust. The goal is not to make it easy on you.

The Fayetteville defenses starts rolling the dice on defense, they subject themselves to Pirate big plays.

Varo I sure hope your Tiger's Defensive Co. takes a few pages out of old mTp's Def. Coach Lyles play book and brings the blitz packages along with the safety to over load the line of scrimmage and get in the backfield before those fast Pirates can even get going.... I trust your corners to handle the passing game, but you got to shut down those backs. That kid with the big helmet on will burn you big if he gets outta the backfield. I heard a lot about a Lily (?) boy too.

Good observation.  We have opened it up a bit in the last few weeks, getting a lot more pressure on the QB.  I hope Coach P lets the dogs run.
