Marion no huddled us some for sure, but occasionally it broke down and you had 11 guys staring at the sidelines for 20-30 seconds. I'm not sure what the difference is except that maybe the defense is not sure what to do.

I did hear that Coach Ross wanted to use more clock but im not sure why exactly. Maybe knowing that Forrest was more of a running team it would shorten the game?? Forrest had a good defense so maybe that's why the drives were longer for us.

I agree that they can't turn it over, but the gap in coaching from Marion to Tyner is evident. Based on talent, size and speed alone Tyner would never lose, but the intangibles such as coaching, scheme, special teams emphasis make Marion County formidable.

Tyner should win based on size, speed and talent alone, but they won't win and the biggest difference will be coaching. Marion County does a lot of little things better than most teams and that's what seperates them.

Barney you need to give yourself a ticket for spam. This is the same post every time. You think im joking but im not.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
