If someone can get our team in the weight room and add about 20 lbs of muscle to every kid we will be a force. What we gotta do to make that happen coaches?

Also need to stretch our receivers and pass defenders a few inches.  #1's height contributed a great deal to their win tonight.  Plus he's just a natural born athlete.  Nonetheless, I'm very proud of our boys.  They took a step closer to being men tonight.  We will be a force next year.

Old Pirate says 1st "Congrats to CA ", you fellers got a good team! That #1 is obviously special & #44 was a load to stop. 2nd congrats to the young Pirates. You youngons showed up every game and never quit displaying grit and determination to continue the fight. There is no shame in defeat when you can look yourself in the mirror and know you have given it all. Simply put, the game of football like life is often times filled with in surmountable obstacles! That said you go back to work and improve to make the next attempt hopefully more manageable! OP says thanks to the 3 seniors for the leadership displayed this year.

No, that's in Jasper, at least that's what I kept hearing last year. I didn't believe it though

Lol....huh? If they are giving it out then i need to get my boy some. They have a good weight program, even lift on gamedays. Congrats to the pirates, after they got rolling this was the game that if they won they would be overachieving. Apparently they ran into a better team tonight. Good luck next year.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
