Any word or rumblings on this job?  Heard they were starting over, anyone know any truth to this

I've heard that too, but also heard the guy they have isn't a teacher yet and is going through background checks and qualifications, etc.

Ravenwood is a powerhouse and will get a good coach no matter what. This team has been in 4 of the last 11 state titles games with 2 gold balls. The new coach in fact may not have to teach, our last coach did ISS all day. Woodland Middle beat Brentwood and Sunset Middle in 2015. The best talent in the area still feeds Ravenwood. This dynasty is not over, it is only beginning!

 

 

Ravenwood will probably get a good coach. One thing is Will Hester will be hard to replace. I think Will Hester is one of the top coaches in Tennessee. He has a good offensive mind and a great motivator.

Your right Rebelron. Not many coaches have sat down at the chest board and beat the master at his own game like Hester. Kind of a scary feeling you might say. Kind of glad he moved on to the other school. I've seen good coaches bring good teams to play Maryville and just got out coached many a time. Just haven't seen a coach like Hester.

So, he is in the process of obtaining a teacher license?  What does he do now, landscaping?

Could it be Jeff Rutledge? I know he wanted the Brentwood job a couple years ago.

Does not mean good coach. Most former NFL players have not been good HS coaches.

He only played in college, he was a back up for Carson Palmer at USC and then joined Titans staff on offensive side.
