Week 2: William Blount at Alcoa

Shad loses to Rankin again.....just like old times.

WB will be solid underdogs against Gary's Group.....but WBHS just got a 21.8 to 21.5 victory over Alcoa on last year's ACT results...which may be the first time in the school's history that it beat Alcoa on the ACT.  Could there be a direct correlation Friday night?  Could the Govs pull the upset?  It is possible, but the offense definitely has to look sharper.  Funny that everyone critical of WBHS (including myself) after a 28-3 pasting last Friday night over a 5A team.  In my opinion, WB football is a very solid 5A football team that would win 6-7 games per year in the league Heritage is in.  Unfortunately, WB is not 5A.  They have to play with the big dogs (Alcoa is like a 6A team).  LC easily the worst team on their schedule.
