Just made me think. I wonder why MOMOF23's son didn't play midgets for one of the WBHS feeder teams instead of a Maryville feeder team. Just curious...

He did for awhile got picked up after the season when there was still a pilot team. Absolutely loved 2 of the coaches And stayed with them the next two years.

Another recruiting question: because middle school football does not appear sanctioned anymore, can kids play for whichever team they want like parksrec?

Might be considered band wagon by some. However, He might love the MHS coaches..

I worry if he's happy. If he's not I don't feel he will play to his full potential no matter who coaches him. At the end of the day he's my concern, not what someone is thinking or saying. I used to think like that also to be honest with you I saw some of the kids that played and grew up with my nephew that went to other schools and got to know who they were and would never pull against them in anyway at all. That is the biggest reason I pull for the other  three schools in the county beside Maryville. I think it's a great thing these kids all have grew up together and have friends they once were teammates with on the other side. It's just a game in the end but friendships are forever.
