I say that because I have watched WB play Jeff Co every year since 09 and know what they lost last year. I do not see how they could have improved that much. And if Jeff Co is truly playing everyone one way (like they claim) they undoubtedly have some major weaknesses. Let's face it, most high schools dont have the ability to play everyone one way and not have weaknesses out on the field. Basically, everyone has their best athletes playing both ways. What am I saying? They have weaknesses and Maryville chose not to exploit those weaknesses. Let's be real, they struggled with a 2A school and a 4A school that was 4-7 last year. There's no way they they got Maryville's best shot in that game judging by the score.

Struggled? Maryville has Heritage 42-0 at the half. Fulton is one of the better teams in 4A and Maryville had them down 45-22 early in the 4th quarter. Fulton scored last TD on Maryville subs. Maryville had Jefferson County down41-17 at the end of 3 quarters. Jefferson County is improved also.

I think after seeing all the Murfreesboro teams that I believe there is one that can beat Maryville but it's probably not the team that everyone is thinking. Smyrna, they are the team to be in this region..
