Southtowner
Guessing 2A to 3A cutoff would be about 585. Some maybe 20 or 30 above or below could still be on the fence. How many you thinking per classification? 48-50?

Southtowner
Yes. I counted 291. Is that with all privates opting DII or just the ones that have already confirmed?
Indian
All out but Columbia Academy. What is Trezevant's count this year?
SundayRivers
None of you know that Ensworth has been missing their feature RB since the 2nd play of their first scrimmage, along with a few other key injuries to some kids that should be starting. Ensworth, like last season is being led by the Class of 2018(Juniors.) Last year, Trezevant stayed in that game because Ensworth played 8 Sophomores - most both ways. Much respect to Trezevant for playing anyone, anywhere! Most Div.1 powerhouse schools won't even fathom the thought of scheduling a D-2 school regular season i.e. Maryville...they'd rather pad their stats and coaches' egoes beating up on Podunk County High School! Props to Trezevant and their coaches! This year's Ensworth team is still quite young and is going through some growing pains. And they have played 3 powerhouse schools in their first 3 games. They're quite battle tested. It's going to be another great game between these teams! Anyone wanting to stream it, can catch it at: www.ensworthlive.com

This will be the best team Trez has played and probably will play all year. But props for Trez scheduling a D2 school. It will help sharpen them for another state championship run. PurplePower68
If you don't get another chance in that game it will be one of the biggest disappointments ever in school history. No reason why Marion County shouldn't waltz back to the 2A title game. Sure we will be dissappointed. If a team wasn't dissappointed they need to set higher goals. Just like Coach Grider said as well. He said if SP isn't in Cookeville it's a dissapointmnet. MC has finally gotten that mentality back. We lost it for a lot of years. Not from lack of good kids, they've always been there. Poor administration choices and coaching hires in my opinion.
kwc
Exactly. This will be the best team Trez has played and probably will play all year. But props for Trez scheduling a D2 school. It will help sharpen them for another state championship run. Last year Trezevant lost three games and went 12-3. Those losses were to MHSAA (Mississippi High School Activities Association), Class 6A Southaven by a score of 28-8, MHSAA, Class Class 6A Desoto Central by a score of 32-14, and 4A Memphis East by a score of 38-14. This year, Trezevant plays all three of those non-district teams again, along with D2-2AA Ensworth and 2A Mitchell, like they did last year. This year's game between Trezevant and Southaven went to Southaven again, but the score was closer at 27-26. I'm really interested in seeing how the rest of the season goes and how they do this year against those same schools. warriorhalloffamer3
I am taking Trezevant by 6. Be a good game but Richardson is the real deal. He still commit to Clemson. Heard he still looking at Florida state
kwc
I am taking Trezevant by 6. Be a good game but Richardson is the real deal. He still commit to Clemson. Heard he still looking at Florida state I wouldn't be surprised if Florida State is trying to flip him. Just because a young man commits verbally doesn't mean that the top notched programs will quite calling. They must think they have a shot. Recruiting is dog eat dog at that level.
