Middle College, and a new charter school Freedom Prep was admitted to the TSSAA at the BOC meeting last summer.  At that time it said they would be classified for football at the next classification period. 

 

whether or not they actually will field a team doesn't seem to matter in terms of placing them in a region (WEB Dubois and Woodstock did this at the last classification period.)

Why would you swap Houston Co and Summertown?

Actually take Summertown and loretto and swap them with Waverly and Houston. The way this looks Summertown will be traveling 3 hours to McKenzie while those other schools are all within a 1 hour drive. Lewis, CA, Loretto, East Hickman are all much closer to each other than the way that was listed.

Here are 27 1A teams that are in the east. That would only leave 20-21 in the west. The question to me is what teams will be sent to the west to even out the numbers?

I would think Mt Pleasant and Cornersville would be two likely to be in region 5 in the west.
