Adamsville host Dyersburg

Adamsville steps out of region to play some stiff competition to help prepare them for the playoffs. Hoping we can keep it close and escape injury free. We need to find our rhythm and start firing on all cylinders. We have yet to put a complete game together and this week would be a perfect time to start.

Toughest game of the year! I look for the guys to come out & give it all they've got! Can't get better if you don't play the best competition!! Win or lose this game will only help us! Dyersburg is a great team & got a big win last night! Hopefully we both play a great game and have no injuries!!

Adamsville has a very good team, and IMO should be favored to win a close game.

Why? Dyersburg is coming off of a big emotional win against a very good region opponent.

Dyersburg, going into the game with Milan clearly had to learn that they could compete against a quality opponent without their starting running back and who also is a key component of the defense.

Not sure if D Fields will play Friday, regardless, this could be a trap game for Dyersburg.

AHS friends, your school has to be the best attraction in McNairy County. Your top three tailbacks are transfers, your QB lives in Chester Co., your two top receivers are transfers. The buzz this week in the county is AHS is the lone public school with players from three different counties that are known about. Tim Thompson may be bringing in players from Memphis for you.

I got on this board to read about this game and see you spewing this mess. Every now and then you do this crap. I am not a fan of either one of these teams but have respect for them. If you have proof adamsville is recruiting then turn them in. IF NOT SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE!!! PEOPLE GET TIRED OF HEARING THIS CRAP!! I JUST WANT TO READ ABOUT THE FREAKING GAME!!!!!!

This game will be a great test for the cardinals. Dburg will be deep well coached and strong. This will allow us to see just where we are. Their shear numbers will be one of their biggest advantages not to mention their athletes. Safe travels to their team and fans. Hopefully we can get by without any injuries.

I think this will be a great close game. Good test for the Birds going into playoffs. Injury is always concern in a big non region game this late. Pray no injuries for either team. Anybody that beats Milan has to be good. If Aville wins this game they will prob gain the confidence to go all the way to Cookeville assuming that Trez is out. Curious, how is their numbers a strength ? Aville has 70 players or so. Can't imagine Dburg having much more.

Tired of this mess. If you want this to stop, then McNairy Central needs to compete for Region Championship, and not be satisfied with winning 3-4 games a year. Trust me, teenage kids only have 4 years to be high school kids. And if those kids that are football players, want to win. They don't play high school football just to be "a better person 10+ years after high school." That's no fun! How do you compete for a region championship and stop all this recruiting mess? How about get a coach with a legit resume, and persuade the boosters club to do their job. McNairy Central has way more things to worry about than to accused Adamsville from cheating via recruiting. If you think McNairy Central is going to get every football player from Bethel Springs or Ramer middle school, you're wrong. The open enrollment allows this to happen for their players, for a 14 year old teenage boy to play football with a "proven" program. Also, if you think McNairy Central is struggling because all the "talent" is at Adamsville, you're wrong as well.

The TSSAA can do everything to strict the recruiting, however, teams will do everything in their wil to get around them. There's hope that McNairy can compete for a region title next year. However, they'll have to get by North Side and Lexington (what I've seen they'll all be in a region next year, could be wrong.) what does that mean? McNairy has to beat North Side and Lexington and not have to worry about Adamsville. And do it again and again and again and again and again!!!!
