85warrior
They wete ranked all year last year and then lost to bradley in region semis ending their season earlier than most thought You don't have to remind us of that game. Bradley pulled the huge upset. White County was much better last year than this year. We are still a tough team to beat though. Go Warriors!!! 2ballboys
I like Warriors as well. They're strong all the way around. I'm looking forward to seeing who makes it out of the first round. Warren/Rhea Cumberland/Stone Any thoughts?

plateauvol
Depends on who wins district 5AAA. The two champions, boys and girls, get to host the region.
basketballmom14
Big win last by the #6 seed Stone against the #3 seed Cumberland County. Stone has some young talent and should be a very competitive team the next few years.
bball7000
Nice win for Stone. Many of 6aaa teams will be young next couple years.
Caddie
Congrats to Stone and Coach Capps! I'm still trying to understand the logic or lack of used by CCHS to manage the fourth quarter. CCHS is leading 47-40 with 8 minutes to play. Granted that's a lot of time but adjustments can be made to shorten the amount of possessions the other team has. Why is your best player in the game with 4 fouls up by 7? Why are they still in the same defense that Stone consistently broke down and drew foul after foul? Wether you agree with the refs or not thats the way the game was being called! Adjustments should of been made. Would it made a difference? We will never know. Give Stone credit for taking advantage of the inability of CCHS to make the proper adjustments. Stone did what good teams do make foul shots when the game is on the line. The majority of time close games are won by the team that makes the fewest mistakes and the correct adjustments. It's a combination of solid coaching and the ability of the team to adjust and execute. Again, if your down 7 then #23 needs to be in the game but why is he in with 4 fouls and your up by 7? Tough way to end the season. Good luck Stone!
