Dtown364
If South Pittsburg can't win it this season I'm pulling for Dresden. They have never come close to winning the gold ball. The other times getting there they got curb stomped similar to how the west has done the east the last two seasons. Thanks for the support. The closest we got was the silver ball in 2011 when we played private school Friendship Christian. I've been saying since this group of seniors we're playing pee-wee league that they are Dresden's best chance at the gold. It seems like they keep getting better, more focused & hungrier week to week. GO LIONS! Edited October 19, 2016 by Dtown364
lakecounty1968
By the way.... same for Bruceton!I agree but would a trip for Huntingdon to Lake Co be in better for travel than the current situation? Not being smart just asking.
TheAmbassador
this last classification( moving Huntingdon to region 6) has taken a toll on fan base. Playing every region game a hour -hour and a half away is tough. Especially with a 7 o'clock start time. Plus the money from our own gate. No one besides parents want to drive over a hour to Huntingdon to see their team get beat by 40( not beating my chest, just stating what has happened the past two years). With TSSAA being so money hungry, I don't see how this can fly. Here you go then. This would be the alternative. If no one is shifting eastward. This is an example of what it will look like. Regions with 4 or 5 teams and some with 8 or 9 teams. Region 1 Cloudland Jellico Unaka Hancock Co Region 2 Coalfield Sunbright Oakdale Midway Oliver Springs Harriman Greenback Region 3 South Pitt Whitwell Lookout Valley Sale Creek Copper Basin Region 4 Red Boiling Springs Pickett Co Clay Co Gordonsville Monterey Region 5 McEwen JoByrns Republic Franklin Grace Region 6 Collinwood Wayne Co Cornersville Perry Co Mt Pleasant Richland Huntland Moore County Fayetteville Region 7 Lake Co Greenfield Gleason South Fulton Humboldt Dresden West Carroll Huntingdon Bruceton Region 8 KIPP Freedom Prep Memphis Middle College Hillcrest Westwood Middleton BT Washington Oakhaven Edited October 19, 2016 by TheAmbassador
SportsnetWriter2
Glad to see Harriman staying 1A. Our program has truly made some positive strides since making the transition down a few years back!

Waker
I agree but would a trip for Huntingdon to Lake Co be in better for travel than the current situation? Not being smart just asking.yes. I would rather make 1 long trip a year than 4. Plus LC has more tradition, plays better football and will be more competitive. TheAmbassador
LMBO. Once again. One model evened the east and west teams out. One model didn't move anyone eastward. Someone is going to be ticked off one way or the other. There is no perfect system. The privates are mostly gone. That's what everyone wanted. Now everyone is griping. You never know what tssaa is going to do.
