Games are supposed to be decided between the 2 teams on the field 11 vs 11 not 17 vs 11. Never seen such openly obvious one sided poorly officiated games in 20+ years of being involved with high school football. SHAME ON YOU TSSAA! NCS you have a good football team but you did not win the game on your own tonight. I'm sorry for all the boys for a hard fought year to end on the calls of officials

This was an incredible game with two hard-nosed teams going tooth and nail. Huntingdon players, you all played valiantly and gave everything you had. I dont remeber seeing another team fight that hard. Congratulations on a great season.

Swenson had some harsh words about the officiating at the end of the game in the Jackson Sun. It is a shame a Hs game has to be decided like that.

Awful officials. So awful. Stole it from our kids no doubt. Wayne county will beat NCS. They are way better. Zebras always help the private schools seems like...... TSSAA needs to seriously look into this game. I know it's not going to matter but I've never seen such one sided officials in my whole life. Pathetic.

That's how bad it was....

In the end the simplist of things decided the game. Each team scored 4 times. NCS converted 3 times on extra points and Huntingdon managed to get one 2 pointer with their four scores. Never under estimate the power of kicking that first extra point.

I hate that man!! People should come away from games never even having to think about the officiating!! Been on that end of the stick before too!! Hate it for the kids most!!

First time I ever seen refs huddle up in the middle of the field.And wait for eight or ten policemen to escort them off the field.

Especially for the kids. Crappy way to end your career for seniors. I just hope Swenson told that ref what he thought about him

Alot of crying about the refs from some people pneumonia this board. What about HHS chop blocking our kids? They called a defensive PI on NCS when clearly, clearly the HHS player pushed our guy in the air. Multiple late hits on our QB, no call. HHS players grabbing lawless by the jewels. No mention of any of that by the HHS people. The sideline flag was for sideline interference. And that's the bottom line
