GCA almost put 100 on Midway last night and None of the 5 starters played after 4min mark in 3rd Q

It was 58-9 at one point in first half.

You District 1 guys have an awesome season Meigs, Harriman, or GCA will be waiting ya

Enjoy

Son! Do you think you might possibly be able to get past the first round of the tournament this year?

If we still had last year's team, we'd be 15 better than you all....Probably 5 better with this unit  :popcorneater:

Seriously tho, I'm not sure Meigs will be in the mix this year...I was leaning more toward you all & Harriman in sub-state games....What say you?

We are 3-2 with 4 games against 6A schools. We beat Farragut (without Arnold) and Oakland. We lost Beardon by like 10 and Arnold had 6pts playing with 104 fever (didnt know this until after the game) Honestly as his dad I was glad the team had to play without him or sick the first two games. It showed the resolve of our youngsters and other veterans. Arnold is a big part of this years plans but he cant do it alone. Its a team game and if these guys all embrace their roles they will get back. We have several really good players besides Arnold. He is a spoke in the wheel. Coach Doig Turns the whole wheel!

If the boys want it they have no excuses not to get it. They have the team to compete. I told Connor last night hiw much I love Russell Westbrook because he plays Angry and Hard every game vs Either the Midways or the Meigs. Thats a mindset

Harriman scares me the most. Athletic every game. Sporatic shooters catch them hot ask Farragut ( 77-55 Harriman won)

Its no cake walk for GCA boys. Everybody wants some

We know that feeling!

If we play well to regionals, one way or the other, we play one of you two...And we will need to put together 4-qtrs of dang good basketball to have a shot...That's how I see it.

My 3rd one is just a freshman....Over 6' and LONG, but I'm not sure I see him being in the mix this season...The next 3 years? For sure!

I've seen Harriman mentioned 2 or 3 times. I know they have two quality players, but did they add to them? Because to be honest their MS team has been very sketchy 3 out of the last 4 years and I think they lost 13 or 14 games last year, even with Pace and Johnson (right name?).  I'm sure they'll be top 3 in district 3a, is that about it for them? Out 1st or 2nd region game, just like usual...

yeah your alls schedule hasn't helped, but down the road the experience of playing those teams will. Especially if you get healthy. Any one from South Greene On here? is their schedule right? No wins so far but they have played a gauntlet. Elizabethton, science hill, Tennessee high a trip to the Bahamas and science hill again.

It may be the first of the new year before any of us have an idea on how good South Greene will be this year. They have some outstanding underclassmen who should begin to play into things as the season progresses. One of their seasoned, senior, starters, Hall, was injured in a car accident. I wouldn't expect him to play until January or even later, And one of the freshman who I would expect to see in the lineup is injured. They have a rough road through Christmas, even without the injuries, as they have mostly, very good, AA and AAA schools on the schedule.
