Academy Pirates are 4-1.  Lost to Boyd last week 20-16. Play Grundy Tuesday & Sequatchie Thursday.

We need to welcome lipscomb with some pirate pride this week.. I enjoy other teams coming to play in the atmosphere at Beene Stadium.

Just gonna call it like I see it.  We have took much speed for Lipscomb.  Their Dline and LB's are pretty good, but when SP is playing like SP should, it is really tough to come to Beene Stadium and get a win.  My opinion based on what I saw in the videos of there games, other than the Goodpasture game which I have not watched yet, we will reach Mercy by end of 3rd quarter.  JMO.  I'm gonna watch the Goodpasture game tonight.  And if their RB is out, and the QB (which I thought was the backup, can anyone confirm?) it is gonna be tough for them.  Our DL and LB's are pretty darn good.
