Didn't watch the game so I don't know the circumstances but Coach Adkins is as classy as they come.  He's been coaching for nearly 30 years now and has a great reputation.

When you are down to a minute in the game and leading, just trying to run out the clock and you got players getting 5 yard running starts and crashing the line, its time to think about the safety of your players. It has nothing to do with class, its protecting your players. Tom Adkins has class and he cares about his players.

I've been keeping an eye on JoByrns. My buddy Moto could be making a trip to SP in the playoffs. That would be a cool matchup and setting since we've only played one other time.

I'm looking forward to that possibility!  I might go watch SP play Goodpasture on 10/20 since they'll be close by.

Coalfield and Greenback are both very good. Our team this year is still young. We have like 45 players with 30 of them being 9-10th graders.

The defense's job is to stop the offense, regardless of the score.

I get it man it sucks losing by 60 I know firsthand but its your job to score and prevent scoring. Its not doing anyone any favors for the other team to let off the gas
