This game has suddenly got very interesting as WC is battling with more injured players than I can ever remember. WC is going into this game on a two game losing streak but hopefully after a good week of practice can get the boys settled into their new positions and back on track

How has Wayne Co been so far this season? Correct me if I am wrong but there are no longer anymore Rice boys playing are there?

The last Rice graduated last year and is now at Murray State. Wayne County started the year off great but the injury bug bit and it just gets worse every week. Last night at the game there were nine starters on the sideline with injuries, some season ending and some that are just taking time to heal. Hope to have all but two back by playoff time and keep the rest of the team healthy between now and then

I know there's a lot of football left this year, but this week sure feels like a turning point game. Win this one and I think we finish at 7-3 and get a home playoff game, lose and I'm not sure we even make the playoffs at this point.

I would have liked to see the team that played Loretto in the first half develop throughout the season.

You're right 89 things just got a lot more interesting. Bruceton can definitely win this game but until the tigers do it Wayne Co should be favored. I say either way this game might come down to a score.

WC still has plenty of talent to be really good, just got to get the boys that are stepping in to step up fast and get used to their new role. The younger boys have done a good job it's just the little mistakes that are hurting this team, gotta stay out of the third and longs

Have faith that Coach Rice will pull this group together. He's as good as they come.

Well I been kinda quiet,but I ain't going to sugar coat it, WC(as a whole) are not playing good at all!  We are soft all over the field!  I can say this,  because I have one on this team and have had a kid on this team for the last 6 years,and they have always heard  it from me, and my son on  this years team must step it up too!  We are not playing Wayne Co. football!  Period!!!!!  We are getting whipped up front, beat in secondary,  have become pretty much a run only team and we ain't good at that right now! We just plain and simple, ARE NOT PHYSICAL !!!!!   I bet Coach Rice feels the same way! I know most of these kids, and I know several of them personaly, and I know they have the heart!  This team has to want to win, and be ready to give their all, every play if they want to win!  We haven't done that the last 2 games and you see the results!  Just gotta go out there and play your hardest!  I know we have some injuries, but the next man has to step up, and we got to quit making excuses,and tell them the way it is!  I tell mine every game, if he does good I tell him, if he stinks, I tell him! I don't say," well you still did good" That's whats wrong with the world today, there is very little accountability anymore!  Just got to get tougher, meaner, and want to do our best every play for their teammates!   Prove me wrong, or get it fixed this week!  GO Cats!!!!

I agree a 110%! Especially the part on sugar coating and accountability. Our upper class man know how to win and knows what it takes to win. I'm afraid, however, some have lost heart. They've been hit in the mouth and instead of doing something about it, they're looking like a shy whipped pup. It's time to get nasty and it better start this week in practice. Hopefully, we get some things fixed this week and come out Friday like Wildcats!
