Ha! The same DB that beat the state championship Farragut team last week ?....a Farragut team that ranked in the top 10....all divisions with a 19 game win streak?

Ya..ok......that Cookeville team "might" be as good as DB, and we all saw what happened when the firebird ran into that Mack truck windshield...... Ha!

Next....who's next?!

That same Cookeville team that's lost 1 game and also beat you guys this year!

Cookeville is a good team, however they did not beat Alcoa . It was a spring scrimmage and even then I thought Alcoa got the better of it. ( could be wrong, been a while).

Cookeville's wins this year are against a 3-4 (3A) team, a 4A team, a 3-5 Warren Co (0-4 vs 6A teams), white co (0-7) and Coffee Co( 2-5).  I was very impressed with their 28-7 win vs PC and the game with RIverdale. They still have to play Blackmanm Oakland and Siegel

That was a great test. Cookeville's defense was fast and put pressure on a very green Alcoa QB. After two or three series Alcoa adjusted and started move the ball well. with the starters it was 2-1 Alcoa. With the JV teams in was 2-0 Alcoa.
