In the first half PHS stalled themselves out deep in Card territory 3 times!2 huge runs by.the super fast back the Cards have was almost all their offense!!!I do not Believe the Cards tried to put any

Peabody we are all supporters of our teams.  The Cardinal fans have bee respectful of the tide and in no way tried to down play the tide.  However, knowing our team we know we let one slip away.  Just like the main tide fans know their team and see how they rose up and took the game over and won in the end.  Both teams played hard and clean for the most part.  Hard fought.  Peabody deserved the win.  Good luck against mitchell.  Hopefully we see you in 2 weeks.  Right now we are focused on Fairley.

Is fairley a run based team or do they mix it up a lot?

Then you guys should be ok. Y'all pretty much shutdown UC running game and y'all have pretty good D backs also. I don't think you can look at scores and wins and losses when it comes to those Memphis teams tho

The Tide ran the ball with success against the Cards.But each game has its on dynamic,and matchup are key!I believe A VILLE will win this game,but Fairley will score a few!

I don't know anything about fairley. But the Ville is a solid team and I hope they come out with a win.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
