Adamsville invades Fairley

Fairley played teams with a combined record of 33-65.  With one of those wins a forfeit.

Adamsville played teams with a combined record of 51-49.

Adamsville has played by far the tougher schedule to this point.    The difference in strength of schedule is what i believe works in adamsville's favor.  Plus having been in the big games before.

Okay just talked to a friend that is firmilar with this Fairely program! There losses are to one mediocre team and one very good team!played a very similar schedule to the Cards,as in up in class! My buddy says they aren't your typical Memphis team we've grown acustom to seeing!!!It's so hard to judge teams by wins and loses!!I don't know of any programs in Memphis that even have home fields,so it kinda makes it a neutral game!!!I look for The Ville to pull this out in a tight one!!!

LOL.

You are right about one thing, most of high school football teams that reside inside the city limits of Memphis don't have fields at their school. Fairley is one. Every Shelby County school within the City limits of Memphis shares fields, even if there is a field at that particular school. It has always been like that since I can remember.

This game is being played at J. P. Freeman, which is a middle school. However, this field would be considered Fairley's HOME field, because it is where they play the majority of their home games. (from time to time they have played home games at Whitehaven Stadium) This is NOT a neutral site. This is a home game for Fairley.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
