So yeah he's very impressive, go look on page 4 on this tread to see for yourself. Parker and James has the same running style the only difference I see is James can juke you and he will run you over. Both are good backs https://www.hudl.com/athlete/4432840/highlights/59ac459e5caa740f40c22ae0 Edited November 8, 2017 by GregJames55

Plus he can play multiple positions on offense and not miss a beat. So to me you can't compare the two, but yes James is a good RB. buckeyeball
I've watched James for the last 4 year's. Good athlete but not nearly as good as Parker. When you add in who they've played it shows that Parker is the much better player.

We almost have 3 1000 yard backs. If jay would have played 3 or 4 Quarters it would have been ridiculous and for what?

Just a few team. Mba,Marshal county,Cpa and to James case Stratford. 25 for 125 vs 5 for 100 2q....0_o Not knocking James because he is a good RB but show me a highlight with him against a top 5 team in any classification. James didn't play in the first game of the season and 4 games he only played 2 quarters. And has made it to the end zone 30 times. He is very versatile can play slot, back and has played qb . Ran for I believe 169 yd against a very good Ravenswood defense. It doesn't matter what level he played he is going to give you 100%

lineemup
Parker is much more impressive, the quality of opponents that he faced isn't even a comparison. Honestly, just as i read earlier in the boards, Giles QB should be in the race. Didn't James have around the same rushing totals last season? I know his TD weren't as many, but he wasn't even an all region selection last season with around the same totals. I don't believe it matters what anyone says on a CoachT message board at this point, but Giles QB should have been a semi finalist and Parker is most impressive based on quality of opponents. buckeyeball
If you're going by stats alone they RE back or Lowe from Bolivar are the players to look at. Lowe has 1,800 yards passing and 940 rushing. Lowe put up those numbers while sharing the load with a 1,500 yard rusher.
32hammer
Still say Jack Warwick is the best player in 3A. Already has 2 rings and might get a 3rd this year. Ask Maryville or DB fans who the best 3A player in the state is. Does his best work against the toughest competition. Usually is done in the 2nd quarter against most region opponents.
