No sir... I didn't call mercy by halftime in the quarterfinal game. I did call it vs Moore County this week. I guess it took them longer than I expected. I said no one would stay within 21 of Huntingdon all the way through the state game.

What you said was they would win by 35 this week though.

"Cornersville will have nothing for Huntingdon next week. Trust me on this one. Just like what I said about when Fayetteville came to town. Huntingdon wins by 42 or more this week and 35 or more next week. "

No he said Huntingdon would mercy rule us by halftime in the quarterfinals if we made it there

We in Middle Tennessee don’t consider anything west of Lawrenceburg to be a part of the state of Tennessee. West Tennessee is like the trashy cousin that you’re forced to hangout with during Thanksgiving. You’re basically apart of Arkansas to us.

Got to love these type of guys. One good season in a decade and all of a sudden  you're world beaters. Give me a break bro.

Hey I thought we was friends, you know I'm about 25 minutes west of Lawrenceburg!

do you think it will make a difference for the Mustangs playing on grass as opposed  to the turf at our stadium? I personally think it won't matter. Speed kills!

Huntingdon won't be any faster than Cville and the grass won't make much difference unless its wet. It's getting about that time of year for Huntingdon to break nervous or get over confident, not sure which it is but they seem to stumble a bit this time of year

You had a nice 3 year run Wildcat but those days are long gone. Its gonna be awhile before Wayne Co is even competitive with Huntingdon. The team I saw this year was slow and weak. I know you hate the Mustangs about as bad as we hate yall. You all should have your 1st basketball game this week. Good luck!

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
