Don’t worry I wouldn’t count on the ac part. I honestly believe Greeneville will be in acs head before the game. Mental mistakes will be huge in this game for ac.

Under Gillum, AC has been the most dangerous in the playoffs when they've been the underdog, so I expect them to play with a chip on their shoulders. Just ask Clinton (2009) and Powell (2010), although those were early round upset wins. That being said, the quarterfinals has always been AC's "mental" roadblock.

Greeneville is the top dog and as we’ve seen in the past teams beat themselves before the game starts as well as mistakes throughout the game. I look for Greeneville to get pressure on the qb and make him make mistakes. He can make those on the run throws and Greeneville can make those interceptions.

Whether AC wants to admit it or not, I do think that Greeneville poses a "Maryville-lite" threat from a mental standpoint. There is no denying that.

We’ve seen it time after time. They kinda remind me of a Gibbs squad back on 2010 or 2011. Had all that talk and hype but the mental game killed them

Your right I didn't think you could beat Besty. So I will give you props on that. However we are definitely not Elizabethton. So I'm still laughing when I look at the 55-9 score that happened on your own field. And I know what you will say that your better this year and I agree you guys are much improved and your coach probably deserves coach of the year in the whole state. But we are also better this year and now it's time to prove it.

Last year scores/games are gone!  Any games prior To Friday night match up (11-17-2017) means nothing and will not secure a victory for either team!  You could have played in a game 5 years ago and been the favorite or the underdog; it doesn't Matter.    At this point each team is 0 to 0 and if they have made it this far and it's for a reason because BOTH are great Football teams!   No one knows what the outcome of this game will be!  Most of are excited, and there is some nervous, some worried, and some confident.  That's what makes this fun and a privilege to be a part of.

Will the AC fans use the side entrance close to the visitor bleachers and parking lot across the street?

There is limited parking at Walter state. Very few small parking lot. The parking lot behind the stadium is brand new with plenty of parking. I recommended using the entrance on the visitors side. But come early. We usually take up half the visitors side as well as the whole Home side for fans. Keep in mind Greeneville is yet again the only NET TEAM playing so that will bring more people to the game. If you get there at 5 you maybe to late to get a seat

Both are not great football teams Greeneville is a great team Anderson county is a very mediocre team who has played nobody this year I saw them scrimmage in preseason and they didn't even score a touchdown against South Doyle or Fulton and if you get after the quarterback and bring the heat .. the QB gets rattled .. all other players are  slow

    • There's going to be more fallout from this.  It's not over.   A criminal investigation is also underway.  Additional school counselors have been fired.   As far as coach flip flops is concerned,  a lot of people knew he was flirting with disaster. He was recruiting failed athletes from other schools. Grades and discipline issues that got otherwise good athletes kicked off other area teams were playing at CHS. Grades, addresses or transfer rules be dam ed. It was just a matter of time.  It's a culture issue at the school. I've heard an assistant coach and teacher for another sports team was let go for not breaking up a fight on campus between 2 girls.  Supposedly he's only there because of coach flip flops, they're close.  That guy's kid, who's a great athlete in the school,  will probably transfer out to.  There's just so many layers to this .   I'm not sure the director of all Anderson county schools doesn't get bit by this somehow. He's the one who wanted, pushed for the principal at Clinton in the first place.  He initially denied anything had been uncovered when a local station broke the story.  He had to back track his statements.   It's ugly in Clinton right now folks.   Add in the fact that there's such a huge rivalry with ACHS across the river,  it makes it bitter for clinton fans if they say anything.  Especially given the dominance that ACHS has had over Clinton for 20+ years in  almost everything.
    • Congratulations to y'all. I have been texting some Huntingdon friends. What a great accomplishment. Proud of y'all. Keep battling.
    • I remember it happening, but I don't remember the details. I usually have headphones on so I don't hear the PA anyway. But it seems like a guy I know was doing it at one point, but he either didn't start it or didn't finish. I don't remember which.
    • Kreuziger from Huntingdon has been fantastic on the mound!  I think if the Fillies can score a couple of runs tomorrow it may be all they need to capture their first ever state championship in Softball.  Great day to be a Huntingdon fan!  Baseball team has won 17 in a row and plays for State Championship tomorrow also!
