Can we take a moment to stop and appreciate that this is the Jackets 3rd straight quarter finals appearance!  Coach Wilson and staff are building a strong program, and doing it the right way.

As others have mentioned, you don't get an award for going undefeated in the regular season.  He schedules tough non-region games that get them ready for this time of year, and here they are again with a reasonable chance to make the semis for the first time in a long time.

Springfield has always had athletes, but Wilson's teams are well coached, and well prepared each week.

Many folks were sceptical when he got the job, that he could transition from middle school to high school ball. He took some lumps in his first several years, but now we fans have expectations of deep playoff runs year in year out.  Good luck Jackets the rest of the way, and many years to come.  #SPT brand.

You think Jackson beats us badly???

No, SS is not capable of blowing anyone out...except Chester co apparently.

They're just a solid running based team with a quick D line. Turnovers (5) cost them the game vs Lexington. With that knowledge I would expect Lexington to put up more points,  but they didn't.

No doubt, not only that but they are doing a great job on game night as they have been on point with half time adjustments!

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
