Their D was pretty solid against HHS.  Gave up 40 but a lot of that was due to turnovers.  Neither team has much going offensively.  SC has the better D.  I say SC wins by 7

Defense played decent, but it really looked like Hendersonville wasn’t really clicking on offense. Offensively, SC is really struggling.

I have watched Station Camp twice and they just aren’t very good. IMO, if you take Alexander out of the picture, SC has no threats. Don’t see many more wins on the books for SC and I would have to give the edge to WC at this point.

Station Camp was horrible last year and WC won 38-28.... They are at least better than they were last year. I don't know if I can say that about WC.

Mt. Juliet 49 vs Gallatin 3 Final

Hendersonville 45 vs Beech 27 Final

Springfield 21 vs Station Camp 9 Final

Lebanon 30 vs Lavergne 7 Final

Wilson Central 14 vs Overton 7 4th Quarter

All were about what I expected. Except I didn't think Hendersonville would beat Beech that way.

It’s clearly Mt Juliet and Hendersonville....

then everyone else.

Id say Lebanon def would disagree with that.  Should be a great game with them and HHS next week.  Lebanon D has some MONSTERS.  I expect a low scoring game and hope HHS can keep the momentum going and get another victory.  This is a HUGE game for both teams as far as playoff seeding and region title hopes go.

My predictions for the upcoming season

Mt Juliet- 10-0 regular season, will lose in the 2nd round of the playoffs against Oakland or Blackman.  Softest schedule of any 6-A team in the state.  Opponents went 37-65 last year. 4 of their opponents went 1-9.  Why no Williamson Co. teams on the schedule? Why not DA Haven home and home? Embarrassing!

Lebanon- 9-1 regular season, will lose in the first round. Extremely soft schedule.

Wilson Central- 6-4 regular season, will lose in the first round

Hendersonville- 4-6 regular season, will lose in the first round

Station Camp - 3-7 regular season

Gallatin- 8-2 regular season, will lose in the 3rd round of the playoffs

Beech- 7-3 regular season, will lose in the 2nd round of the playoffs

After 4 games.

Mt Juliet- no change, softest schedule of any 6-A team in the state. Will lose in the 2nd round.

Lebanon- no change, defense gives them a chance in the first round but that is it

Wilson Central - not sure what happened here. 2-8 record at the end of the year.

Hendersonville- 6-4, will lose in the first round

Station Camp- 4-6, will lose in the first round

Gallatin- 7-3, will win the region, get to the 3rd maybe 4th round

Beech- 7-3, 2nd in the region, will get to the 2nd maybe 3rd round

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
