Did you get the Pirate scores from all the past games on your list as of yet?

I am missing about 5 or 6 seasons. I know that I have the paperwork for most of them but 1 or 2 from the 20s I will need help from the school. Everything else is in a spreadsheet and waiting.

Anyone heard from that Hargis man in the last couple weeks?  Anyone know of a release date on his book?  Last I heard was a release date soon but nothing concrete.

I think he is fuming. It was supposed to have been released already. Now that the big week is here he is missing a great opportunity to make a few extra sales.

Quite the undertaking.  I'm sure the school can help.  Someone up there surely can.  I've always wanted to have possession of an item such as this.

Yep. I heard back the first week in August it would be one day that week. Since then not a word.  Be nice to see them at the game for sale.

Update on the book: the publication date for Eight Hateful Miles is set for September 14 (yes, I've been extremely frustrated that it wasn't released before the Marion/South Pitt game, but that was out of my hands). For everyone who has messaged me to pre-order, I still have your contact info and will reach out to let you know when I get my first shipment, and will get those out to you ASAP. We are planning to have a display booth at the game this Friday to take orders (if you've already ordered, no need to do so again, this is for folks who haven't had a chance to do so yet). The book is also now available (for pre-order) on Amazon.com as well as online at Barnes & Noble and through the publisher freshinkgroup.com. There will be both hardback ($40 for this commemorative edition) and soft cover choices ($30 for soft cover).
It wound up being 452 pages, with more than 150 photos and the foreword is by Phillip Fulmer. Sorry for the delay, but hopefully you guys will like the finished product.
Also, once I get the shipment, we will plan to have a book party at Stevarinos (will let you know the date as soon as we set it).

    • so the players dad who is a recruiter is now at Oakland?
    • We are optimistic because we will have another great season. You should keep your opinions on your Forrest Rocket board. These kiddos at Marion have had an amazing off season. They are working hard and it is showing. Coach TStark is getting these kids scholarships to get their college for free. Also Coach Harm is back so this is another awesome thing for our kiddos. Forrest will get theirs when they come to Bill Baxter Stadium this season. My main men Sam, Tay and Tilton are going to do amazing things this season. You should just watch and see what these kiddos are capable of doing. The Marion County Warriors are a force to be reckoned with again this year. East Robertson will be a good team again but that is the only big challenge this team will have again. If we can beat East Robertson like I know we can then we will go to the state championship and win the game. As always it is a great day to be a warrior. Go Warriors! We are Marion!
    • The player is only able to go because of the coach who is his dad. The dad is a recruiter not a good coach. HC blamed him for losing the Clinton game in the playoffs.
