USJ travels 2 miles to TCA

What happened to TCA? I wasn’t expecting this lopsided of a game.

USJ won the turnover battle. Hardegree had a solid game plan to bottle up #7 and prevent big plays. Offense ate the clock by pounding the rock with only one big play early and the rest being small chunk yardage. The freshman kicker mixed it up nicely, keeping it away from the deep threat and even forced a couple of turnovers on squib kicks.

I believe both teams have much more potential to unlock and am hopeful that both will finish their seasons strong. The biggest winner of the night was RIFA with nearly 55,000 pounds of food collected between the 2 schools this week.

USJ had a game plan and excecuted it. Tca had 5 turnovers. 2 on onside kicks. Our defense was on the field the majority of the game. No excuses. Out coached and out played. Our boys will regroup and be ready next week. I believe USJ will do just like last year. Take this game and springboard ahead the rest of the year. Hope our boys can use this as a good loss. On to region play next week.

Absolutely never saw this coming. Still in shock. Others have covered what went wrong so no need to rehash it again.Well executed game plan by USJ tonight.We just flat got whipped on all fronts. End of story. Time to get to the games that really matter.

Congrats to USJ. Having 3 different coaches in 3 years isn't easy for any program to overcome without some scars. Quality win.

Nice team win for USJ. They came out with a great game plan that played to their strengths on O. The line dominated and stayed on their blocks. Defense pursued well and gang tackled. Still some stuff to clean up but a win is a win.

For TCA, well the good news is you've got your worst game of the year out of the way!

Here we go again with the MS reference. Insignificant nonsense. Has zero bearing on Varsity sports. So many kids quit growing in MS and so many others blossom after entering HS.
