Has made those comments off and on this year.We cant play with the bigger teams.

I never said that. I said good bigger teams. And I didn’t say you couldn’t play with them I said I didn’t think you’d win most of them. You could certainly knock off at least 250 teams in the state of Tennessee. I thought Grace had a good team this year but they have looked terrible the last two weeks.

We're just getting ready for winter

Well the other you ask me at the gas station what I thought and I told you go watch the Webb replay and that should tell you all that you need to know. The one thing that surprised me was most if not all the starters were in there real late in the game. What are there left to prove when it's 48-7. Seen more games in my lifetime like that where you lose the key player on either side and there goes the season.

Whew .... total domination in all aspects of the game. Great game by the Qb, receivers, runningbacks, db's, linebackers, kickers and coaching staff. My year has been made. It's crazy what we can do when the zebras keep their yellow in the pocket.

Your line play looked good also

I know I just saw where I forgot to mention them ! They owned GCA on both sides of the ball! It's just nice to know that one of the 5 smallest schools in the state that plays sports can go up against a private school juggernaut from Knoxville and prevail victorious. What is so bad about my line omission is that they were the most dominant aspect of the game. Again great game to all!!! Thanks for pointing out my flaw Sum1

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
