Not impressed thus far! Kids a big en and loves to tuck it and run you over! GC shut down Johnson that night in his standards 125appx and Snyder matched him that night! Pass game has been a no show thus far

WC has a pretty good sized line I'd say GC was slightly larger. They just won the point of attack. Plain and simple. Our weakness all season has been pass defense and that was also exposed in intermediate routes

Big win for Gibson County tonight! Good job guys!

No knock on West Carroll, but I felt Gibson was better in every aspect of the game tonight. The majority of the game was played in Gibson County’s territory/side of the field. The run and pass game for Gibson keeps teams honest on defense, and the defense is flying around the field and delivering some hits.

Obviously, Peabody will be heavily favored coming into the game, but I think our guys are fully capable of going toe to toe with you all next week. I’m not saying this in a trash talking manner - I just think our guys are coming in with a full head of steam and will be up for the challenge.

I’m gonna tell you all right now cause I call it how I see it... Gibson County may be lucky to see the end zone once. I’m telling you this cause I honestly believe with all of my heart that Peabody cannot & will not be beat by anyone in 2A this year. That is if they can, if at all possible, stay as healthy as they can. I look at everything from a lawyers type of perspective. I’ve done a lot of assessing of 2A football in West TN & I am telling you all right now, Peabody isn’t getting beat. This team is averaging scoring 57 points per game & only giving up an average of 7 points. They have also managed to be the only team to score a single point on their home field all year long. I firmly believe that Peabody will bring home their 2nd gold ball in 4 years back to Trenton this year.

That did hurt ? But what if Lake Co beats Greenfield?And West Carrol did lose 24-0 to a team Lake Co beat? And Dresden had Lake Co scouted well and held Johnson in check with Tubbs not dressed that night and maybe taking some pressure off Johnson,due to a concussion.

They are doing pretty well.I picked them to win the past 2 weeks against Adamsville and West Carrol.

Alls I'm saying is if you had trouble with Dresdens speed you'll probably have trouble with WC's. I recall you guys complaining of no outside containment vs Dresden

We got beat by Yates! Hard to imagine one player beating a team but that’s what I saw!

LC will be fine the rest of regular season. Perfect storm for Dresden the night they beat the Falcons. Turnovers, and over confidence on LC behalf. The Falcons will not over look anyone else this season.
