Wow. I was trying to be funny. The absolute truth is that I don't know if i know he is playing QB or not. He is playing defense. He had the two INTs against TCA last week. The QB spot is still a question. He might get some playing time but he may not. Our backup QB had a good game last week and is getting better every time he takes the field. Our coaching staff knows how important it is to keep our players safe and no one will be put in jeopardy. So, I don't know but I do know what I know and I know that I'm not telling you guys what I know.

I just hope we can hang with the powerhouse that Union City is whether Union City has their first string or fourth string QB in... some of your Union City folks are the ones who made the statement to me that the starting QB was back, possibly just getting things stirred up a little.

You can sit with me if you want. However if you want to harass us, make sure you can handle return fire

Hey brother, I appreciate what you are saying but powerhouse is not how I would describe how we are getting things done this year. It sounds like the Pioneers are playing like the powerhouse team this year

Honestly, I think we are at a turning point in our program right now. This senior class was 7th graders when the school system decided to consolidate the middle school football program between Dyer, Rutherford, Yorkville, and Spring Hill. We are now 4-5 years into this process and Gibson County is sitting at 6-1 and the middle school program just ended it’s football season a few minutes ago with a 60-30 win over Halls to cap off the season with a 7-1 record. The only loss for the Jr. Pioneers was a close one to Peabody at the beginning of the season. Will every season be 9-1, 8-2, or 7-3 for Gibson County? Maybe, maybe not.... but the groundwork is in place with a lot of talent coming up through the pipeline.

With that being said, you guys may be injured this year, and have a few losses, but at the end of the day, you’re still Union City...
