The stats for Stanton get inflated due to the lack of Competition and I believe that the committee sees that. Both are good qbs and make their teams go.

4AAA  RB Blake Metzgar of Upperman needs consideration. Has 22 rushing TDs so far on an undefeated team.

Agreed!!! However, unfortunately Walker’s numbers won’t be padded. IMHO it would be possible for Walker to set several records in the state this year if given the chance. It’s a team sport and I respect that, but would be nice to see him get the recognition he deserves. Hoping he does....As most of us know, Jack Warwick should have been an undisputed winner last year and we all see how that turned out.....

Stanton Marrtin Anderson County Mavericks, has proven credentials and should easily win this. The trials he has went through the last four year and still has astounding stats as the best 4a player in the state of Tennessee!

If you mutliple his numbers by the actual quarters played, the would be ridiculous.  For example 3 TDs in less than 2 quarters played Friday night would be about 7 TDs for a full game. But I respect the fact that the team comes 1st and that program and player development are taken care of once the game is in hand. I dont think hes played a full 3 quarters except the maryville game
