It would stink for Eagleville if they lost a ton to the new school and had numbers well below the 1A/2A cutoff.

Yes but there's really no way to adjust for this is there?  Not even if there was reclassification every year.

Yeah, what I read is that they would have to compete in 2A with an enrollment of about 250 after the new school opened next year.

Eagleville is in a tough spot for sure but the TSSAA will not work off projected numbers.

Even if they lose 150 to 200 students, they may not lose their football players right away so maybe they will be o.k. until the next reclassification if that happens.
