AE played hard. Alcoa did not play their best game. Alcoa still won by 3 TDs at AE.

Well, I was apart of the chain crew tonight and it was a good spot haha!  even Rankin said, “he didn’t make it that was a good defensive stop by AE.”    Another thing , Rankin wasn’t calling the plays tonight so you’re wrong about that too.  Futhermore, #68 wasn’t opening  holes tonight.  You all got to give to AE their props because they came  ready to play and to also prove you all wrong.  You got to earn AE’s respect they will never “bow down to the champs!”

But I clearly told someone after the game, watch the Coach T posters get on here and make a lot of excuses about how Rankin held back

Did you see the last drive? Never even had to throw the ball. Lined up 7 across the front and hammered in down their throats to the endzone.

Youre a good dude turtle, but make no mistake, Rankin used this game to get his kids heads straight, just like he did last yr. That turned out pretty well

Worst Alcoa game in 5 years....still three touches better than AE.

Was a bad spot.

AE was more disciplined.

Rankin needs to just stop calling plays on offense. 85+% were his calls tonight, and it glaringly showed.

DBs need to catch the darn ball. dropped 4(?) ints tonight?

Jeff and His dad did a great job preparing their kids, Alcoa did not take this game seriously.

Second game will be a blowout.

Ill hang up and listen.

Agree 100%

Turtle, your stupid, nobody said AE would bow to anybody, AE came to play tonight, very disciplined, more than I've seen in a long time at AE, their QB was very impressive, they played their a game tonight against Alcoa but still couldn't stop an offence that played by far the worst game I've seen since 2014 state championship. Our defence bent, but never broke, so thump your chest my friend, enjoy this little moral victory of yours! Again, hats off to the AE head coach & his staff, & those boys who played their heart out!!

offensive line got their tail whipped tonight, been reading to many billboards! Enough of the Willie blount crap! They better go back to what their coached instead of the crap they hear & see!!

Not sure I can decipher all of that. The O line will be fine. Got some stuff to work on and they will.

I know they will be fine, & they will bounce back, but the O line got pushed around all night, they just wasn't ready to play.

At the same time AE loaded the box and brought the house. Alcoa continued to run right at it? It did not work early on. As Hammer said....once AE was wore down the running game became effective. The down field passes where vey nice and helped to stretch out AE. Alcoa needed to be more balanced offensively to the edges. I've seen a lot better oline play and play call this season to know that this was far from being Alcoa's best.

    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
    • Yeah. AC brass walked in to the building at Clinton and suggested that the principal start changing grades.  Honesty, the notion that anybody at AC was involved is just idiocy.  The ones who are hurt most are the kids who weren't involved in the cheating, but still are being penalized by college admission decisions and scholarship consideration simply because they went to a school that was involved in such a scandal.
    • I heard it was ugly.  Coach Harig and the Redskins demolished what is left of the Dragon Wagon.  At this point, it is not certain that Clinton will even be able to field a football team for 2024.  No way the coach keeps his job, transfers gone, nothing left.  Back to the stone ages for the Dragoons.
    • Not even close, changing over 1000 grades?  Head coach changing grades to keep players on the field?  Not the same.  They will give Lieutenant Flip Flops the "Opportunity to resign"  right after graduation if not before.     Negative, the juvenile court judge blew the whistle.  Clinton admin, teachers and coaches started this fire.  Been going on for 4 years now according to Jones, one of the teachers that was fired.  This is truly pathetic.   The Dragon Wagon is #### up in the ditch down on highway 61 down there near The Spur.  Reap what you sew.
    • What ever happened to the #93 rb that came in and did well last year when yalls RBs we’re going down?
