Heard today the ball coach stepped down. Who is next in line to get this once mighty program turned back around in the right direction?

The coach at Lebanon would make a great hire.

Doubt Gentry would be interested.

They'll probably try to get Hackett from Watertown or Dyer from TC.

Dyer or Hackett would be a good choice, but we need a coach that doesn't have any ties to this town. An outsider would be a better choice in my opinion.

Maynord was very good and had no ties to SC, but remember Gary Rankin? Lived and played here, 1st HC job here,,,,,worked out pretty good for him, and SC while he was here, 

Ones that come to mind real quick,,,,,,Dusty Brady or Matt Dyer.  Maybe Josh Hackett, but doubt he would be interested.

 Might ever call Shoulders and see if he wants to upgrade.

Is Loftis still at Jackson Co?

Loftis would be a good hire if he wanted it. He has taken less talented teams and won a bunch of games. He has head coaching experience. I agree with previous post this town and team needs an outsider.

I've not heard about this anywhere else but here. Is it confirmed that Dickerson stepped down?

I know he's been working on the schedule and dropped Watertown.

As mentioned already, Dyer, Hackett and Brady are all possibilities as they are assistants at good programs and know what it takes to win. They were all very good players in the Black and Gold. Another SC native not yet named although he went to Gordy, Stephen Jackson (DC at Oakland and a dang good one). Regardless of who they get, I hope they put TC back on the schedule. Miss the rivalry!

I hear Jackson is waiting for something big. I heard Hackett is in line at Watertown when Webster decides to step down.

Is there anyone on staff that would be interested? I'm not sure who they have that's a paid assistant. I think Clemmons has helped for several year but again i havent seen SC play in several years nor do i know the capability and desires of the current staff.

Dyer would do great trust me. Macon should have tried to get him. if I were smith I would;nt worry about ties he don't care. He wants to win trust me and I can't see anything getting in his way if the chance comes.

Watertown could be in the region in a couple of years, if numbers stay about the same. York could drop. Outside chance of DeKalb returning. I’m wondering if those possibilities affect the search.
