Mark Kaczocha was listed on Centre College roster but so was Tommy who is playing football in Finland right now. If you haven't been following Tommy Kaczocha on Twitter please DO! It is a blast watching his short videos and representing the Wildcats so well.

Herbert Booker is a DB at North Carolina A & T. Looks like it will be hard to get playing time since the Aggies have one All American DB and a Penn State transfer already. Mr. Friday Night Lights will have to become Mr. Saturday Night Fever.

Kai'Reese Pendergrass is listed as a WR for Carson Newman.. Timothy Johnson and Ted Mitchell are also there.

Tusculum has former OR QB Johnny Stewart at LB. Also, Jaycen McGee.

Gardner Webb has Jeremy Mitchell at DB and Kyndall Clark at LB. Kyndall had 2 tackles last season and guess what else??? Yep, he still has his uncanny ability to recover fumbles. He is an All American turnover specialist.

Darel Middleton IS playing at Tennessee no matter who wants to deny him that accomplishment. I am proud of Darel.

Tee Higgins is Tee Higgins. Plays at Clemson but could start anywhere he wanted.

***Most of the former Cats play small college ball so National TV is very unlikely. However, a lot of teams stream their games on the Internet so you still maybe able to follow the Wildcats,

Who would want to deny that Middleton is at Tennessee? When you reported it back in the spring as a fact...you were wrong and you were corrected. Now he's there and I hope he does well.

The Cats need to build some depth and find a home run hitter.We lived on big plays last yr.Hard to believe we can match all the Defensive TDs we had last yr.I really believe how good Oak Ridge will be will depend on if one of our RBs can step up and be a 100 plus yds a game guy.Great thing is this will should be a team the gets better with every game.Last yr we seemed to max out vs DB then stayed the same or got worse.We have been so so close to a State title the last couple of yrs.I need a good yr to forget that last game that still makes me sick.Its gonna be so weird without Jordan out there taking those sweeps to the house.He has been such a big part of the team since that Thur night at Sevier Co when he showed out.I really loved JG,Herb,J.Mitchell and Pendergrass

Super post! You are probably correct on your analysis of what needs to happen for a successful season. I ,too found myself rooting extra hard for last season's seniors especially the core group you mentioned.

Don't count on many big plays this year. Graham, Booker, and Pendergrass are gone and there is no one on this team that I know about that can provide that type of big play potential. I do agree that this team will improve over the course of the season but despite Willie's totally mindless rants, this is a team that should NOT win a region title, and a team that will likely finish third or fourth in the region. The one thing that may be a positive is that by playoff time, OR might be just as good or better than a few teams that they lost to during the regular season.
