I don't know, they should look into a 6 or 7 man league until they're numbers improve, if they do improve. Credit to the ones that play but really can't be competitive even with schools as small or even a few smaller than them fielding 12-15 players like they sometimes do.

Yeah it makes me wonder even though I hate for them to not be able to play football, but is it really worth it by season's end.A lot of times injuries take away two or three kids and you have nothing like they did last year and that affects nine other teams.

It really had an effect on us by playoff time having two weeks off before our first game I really don't want to go through that again!

Im glad Unaka is off of their 2 year post season ban. We should have 4 home playoff games this year.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
