The answer is no they couldn’t. If you say so you are fooling your self. There wasn’t one 6A team this year that could beat any one of those teams 

 

Again, using your opinion as fact and acting like all others couldn't possibly have a valid reason for believing otherwise.

Fact is, they didn't play those teams and there's no way to know the answer. I know you THINK you know, but you don't.

Hard to have any type of debate with someone who believes what they are saying is fact, when, in fact, it is opinion.

Tempo tf out of them?.....Oakland's defense would smash them into repeated 3 and outs wearing their opponents defense out by the 3rd qtr and then having their way with them, pretty much what they have

You and I are WAY closer to Oakland football than he could even begin to comprehend and WE have no idea how those games would turn out. 

Pretty sure no one thought Oakland would blank Maryville or Whitehaven, either. 

No way to know what he claims to know.

I guess we're just fooling ourselves. Pretty sure he would've said the same thing if either of us had come on here saying Oakland wouldn't let Maryville or Whitehaven cross the 50 the entire game, too!!

Reminds me of the Lewis Grizzard story......  When an old southerner was asked about the Civil War, he replied, "We could have whipped the Yankees with cornstalks, but the sons-a-_______  wouldn't fight that way!!"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
