Whatever buzz that would be created by a new coach at SCHS would quickly subside with what they are up against. If rezoning goes through, for two years they will play 6A football with a little over 1300 kids in their school while beech will get to play in 5a with well over 1500. After two years cottontown high school will open and the buzz around a new high school will pull talent and resources away from the existing ones. There is no gain in a new coach at this point as they would just be set up for failure.

Definetly a tough situation for the school. Went from such high numbers to so low so quick. County definetly doesn’t have any  mercy for them.

It is always coaches fault!!! NO EXCEPTIONS! GHS just lucky they fell under by 1 or 2 students last time!

Great one, clueless!!!   GHS 2 or 3 from 6a and Jackets few from 1a! Whats hard to understand and what does us being 2a have to do with it? You on committee last time?  Maybe Saban will move his dealership to Gallatin and come coach for you when he retires! I just may have some inside info on this one?

Just the way it fell out.  And yeah I was sweating it out!  In reality though, we still play half our schedule against 6A competition.

You do understand your region would not consist of those weak Metro teams, automatic wins! You guys would really be crying had that happened! Hey, maybe you can get some 1/2 a teams to play! How did that work for you last time! HAHAHA

If Gallatin & Trousdale played every year like they do Hendersonville for decades at a time, TC would still be in single digit wins against Gallatin. Hanging your hat on that split 2 year series during this dreaded '12-18' era I see. Congrats? Good crowds though, lets see if they'll schedule it again.
