I am talking in general. Clint needs to do his superintendent job and stay out of the pressbox. Period.

Clint only helped when asked too, but anyone that knows Clint knows he is a football guy, he will be around practice and at every game, but just because he is in the box or has a headset on does not mean he is running things, he was asked to be in the box to help the offensive coaches because we didn't have a offensive coach in the box to break down the defenses. And although he may have peed in your cheerios at some point, he is a HOF coach, and if you were the coach you would be dumb not to bounce ideas off him and see what he says. But all this on here is all here say by people that have no idea what the heck is going on. And someone asked about money, Waggoner was making 65k with coaching stipend.

Who is on your hot board to become the Next HC?

Wesleys job to turn down! Great offense mind. No Dr Satt will get a quality coach, some however will not want it because of him! Too intimidating for many, so it will take someone who can handle that pressure and the pressure to win. No idea about the salary, but it needs to be competitive if we expect anyone from the outside to stay.

GO JACKETS!

GWAVE 1, I am beginning to see how clueless you truly are. You did have me fooled for awhile. Not too many happy people at meet and greet for your guy. GHS is a sad state of affairs these days, really not very successful athletically or academically. Got to be killing those old school Wave fans! I do hope your coach can turn it around but lots of things working against it.

GO JACKETS and WAVE!

Guys hate to break your hearts but I really don't see the next HC being one of the Satterfield boys. I could be wrong but I believe them both to be content at where they are.

The position was just posted today so we shall see soon.

I am thinking the same thing you are! Could see Blake taking it before Wesley though!!

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
