When you guys can get out of the second tier, then let me know.  Otherwise poo pooing that kind of talent will keep you on the second tier.

And my sense of humor/recognizing sarcasm works just fine.  Simply didn't see anything that fit either mold.

MJ fans let us all sulk in misery because a guy from “the great city of Powell” , first time I’ve heard that by the way, said we have pretty much thrown away our chance at being a top tier team this coming season... all due to losing one player that was a D LINEMAN. Who wasn’t even the best player on the Dline last year. Your attempt to make MJ fans sulk in misery is comical. Would I love to have him this season, no doubt. Does his absence automatically take us to second tier, lol good one.

Also, try having knowledge on the team you are throwing big opinions at next time.... buddy

Honestly, losing a player like that hurts not so much because of rating system stars but because of the 2 years of starting experience on both sides of the line, even if he did not have gaudy stats.  That may be because of double teaming and game planning.  Now does that make Mt Juliet go from 10-0 or 9-1 to 5-5 or 4-6.... absolutely not.  Mt Juliet has enough in the fold to replace him but is the next kid up 6-5 and can move like him, probably not the case either.  If so than that kid would be starting over Grimes in the first place.  Bottom line it hurts but it is not devastating.

^^So, where is a link or something where I can see the people who run the MJ program being so upset and acting like the season is a loss without him. MJ has plenty of size and depth. They rotate players on D a lot. He was the #1 player in the state, so yeah a certain lack of presence will obviously be noticed. But trust me, MJ still has plenty of dudes on that D who could be starters at other big schools. This still doesn't make them drop off from another 9-1, 10-0 season.

NOPE, just think it is FUNNY when it is one or two and done come playoff time just like DB!

Regular season does NOT put anything Silver or Gold in the Trophy case.  If you want to see what the Silver or Gold trophies look like just visit R'dale's trophy case sometime.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
