It wasn't for lack of offers, he just said his body and heart wasn't into the game anymore.  Would have loved to see him play at the next level as well, but he's a smart kid and wise enough to know what's best for himself.

QB size isn't as big of a deal as it was a few  years ago. College QB's can be sub 6 feet and be mobile and have a strong arm. 

The highest paid NFL player is a 5'10" QB and this year's first pick of the draft was as well.  Baker Mayfield is barely 6' and has been effective in college and the pros.

Agreed to an extent  , those few you speak of are the exception not the rule however !!!! That being said I hope yall have a great season !!!

The average height is 6’3 6’4   210-240.   Baker mayfield didn’t get a single d1 offer his senior year because of his height

None that I know of and I know most of the posters on here from Waverly. Good luck to you guys this year! Some folks are gonna have a tough Friday night on the week they play y'all.
