Idk she usually has the refs on her side at home not that Macon isn’t better just happens

No one say anything about the refs tomorrow night. I watched the refs call foul after foul against Upperman in Macon County’s gym. Almost all the close calls went against Upperman. So no one should say anything. The best team will win.

Don't start the dillusional B.S,this is the best AA district in the state, with some of the best players throughout ,best coaches through out, another great game as they all are.

In all honesty this game could go either way and yes macon has the better team by a little, not much a little and I will not b shocked if upperman, macon and Westmoreland are all in the state games. Macon will have to play upperman at least 2 if not 3 more times before it's over. And like I said before its hard to beat a team like upperman that many times in a row.

If I am Macon I treat this game like a NFL playoff team treats a late season game and play starters sparingly or outright sit them. Upperman knows they can rough it up and knock a player out and basically end any chance Macon has later on. This game is meaningless to Macon outside of pride.  Better to lose tonight than later.

This is for outright first place in the district and an undefeated district season. If I use your analysis what would Upperman have to win other than a first place tie?  This game matters in many ways so do not try to give the impression that if Upperman were to win it would be because Macon didn’t want to.

I know people are saying this will be close but I just don't see it.  I like Upperman's game but this is a matchup problem for Upperman.   I think that Macon will have to play bad for this not to be a 15-20 pt game.   Upperman is a really good team but Macon defense is just that much better.   And then you have Carter and Gregory.   If Shoulders locks down UHS PG it will be hard for UHS to keep this one under double digits.

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
