Im going with macon tonight but for the region championship against upperman this game this time will come down to the wire. book it.

You could be right but Macon is just better than Upperman this year they have the best two players on their team as well it would be  a long shot to think Upperman could pull out a win but it is basketball and any given night  anything can happen

I was a bit shocked at the UHS and YI score. Not a game where yo want to have your lowest offensive out put of the season. Well we will see if Dana has been able to put together a game plan for Macon. I do believe Macon is the better team but not by a large stretch. Time will tell and the wait is not long. Go Bees!!

It was my understanding that tonight was:

Grundy/ YAI boys 5:00

Cumberland/ Upperman boys 6:30

then the girls final Macon/ Upperman 8:00

Why else would they have moved boys times up?

But now, with weather events of last night, will any of them play tonight?

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
