I respect your opinion always have but the talk of some of the Huntingdon fans earlier was crazy. Are you going to sit there and tell me if y’all played them you honestly only think you would get beat by 7 or possibly win?

It’s ok Waker you don’t have to answer that because I’m pretty sure what your answer would be and I don’t want everyone jumping in on these two post. I will leave it alone bud.

I don’t want to take over this thread but you asked the question. Honestly the only thing I have to go by is the scrimmages for the past three season. I understand you can’t always go by scrimmages. These scrimmages between Huntingdon/ Covington have not been like other scrimmages. Ask the Covington fans. 2 seasons ago Huntingdon completely dominated Covington. Last season it was pretty even with Huntingdon squeaking out 1 more score. Croppy may remember the score better. As it’s been pointed out this year Covington won the matchup by 2 TDs. It was without our starting back and our QBs first day back after a long break with baseball. 

You can make the joke that if that’s the case then Cornersville would beat Covington last year. Whatever. I get it. Cornersville beat Huntingdon 2 years by a combined score of 7. I’m not running around saying Huntingdon is world beaters, but Huntingdon is good.

And I’m not saying Huntingdon sucks! I think the last two yrs y’all should have went to Cookeville but y’all was out coached. Do I think Lake County was better because they made it to the semifinals twice and y’all didn’t NO I don’t but we will never know that. Would I give them the edge this yr? Yes probably so at this point because of being able to pass and run. Hopefully we get to finally find out this yr. 

Now do I think y’all can hang in there with Covington and it be between a score difference No I dont. Look at how they played Alcoa last yr and then beat the brakes off Westview Friday. This is just all speculation and my comments about Huntingdon was never directed toward you. Crappy is usually a good poster but gets carried away every now and then but that’s understandable. There are two posters from Huntingdon that I really cant stand and I will try to do whatever I can to get under their skin.

I have never said Huntingdon was not a good team. I happen to think the mustang's are very good but they are far from unbeatable. Basing Huntingdon off a scrimmage with Covington is not a good indicator on how good they are. I know most teams work on different thinks and nobody really tries to win them. Covington is an awesome team. IMO they are the best team in West Tennessee outside of Memphis. If an LC/ Huntingdon game happens it would be a great game. There is to much football left to be played to even worry about that match up right now. Good luck to the stangs the rest of the season.

Can t wait to see what r underachieving  line does to this mcewen team . Heck I don't guess Waverly should show up since mcewen is better at ever skill position.  Haha.
