GVille pulls the upset. 34-28

Bold..  that would be 28 more points than they have scored during the whole preseason scrimmages and jamboree.

Could happen, but I am as likely to be drafted by the Chicago Cubs tomorrow.

If Gordonsville is going to win, they better hope for a low scoring game.

Really? I had heard their Offense needs lots of work but are you saying they have not scored in preseason?

I overheard what looked like a Gordonsville sideline radio announcer telling some of the people beside me at the jamboree that they have only scored six points this preseason.

Croz said they have done nothing but work on the passing game, which I believe. I can’t recall to many running plays Friday.

Wtown is getting the big head. last i checked they still didnt make the final 4 of the state even with last years juggernaut. am i wrong?

Big head???  Because I don’t think a team that’s scored more than 6 points all preseason will score 35 this week??

Like I’ve said, G-town might beat us ( doubtful imo) but they are not going to want to get in a shootout with us..

If they have a chance, it will need to be a low scoring game!

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
