Line play must be more disciplined than what has been shown so far on the O line. Penalties have to stay out of the equation to maintain control of what the purple will be capable of doing. More playmakers across this squad than in years past as a whole. Options at qb and a stable of horses to carry the rock and speedy feet at receiver as well. Gotta be able to throw downfield to keep D’s honest, but our line will be key to all of this. Watertown sounds exactly like TC especially with the line play we don't have the penalty problem just 4 new starters on the O-line. I think you'll be fine and it will all come together as the line plays and gets experience. Gordy QB will be a beast seen him play in junior high the kid has a lot of potential and talent. Also, who does Watertown play next week since Trousdale has a bye week next week I was thinking about coming and seeing Watertown for myself. Slow, nonathletic team with a QB that has potential in the future. Somehow, their fans left the scrimmage full of optimism and thinking they would be dominant in 2019. No fan from Gordonsville left that scrimmage thinking they would be dominant. We just thought we looked better than Forrest and Cornersville in that scrimmage. That, by no means, equates to dominance. You Forrest fans are a piece of work. I'm really the only Gville poster on here, and you've not heard me say we'd be dominant. We can go this year anywhere between 8-2 and 5-5. Edited August 21, 2019 by croz6110

Bigger school with some good success for first 5 yrs in existence, so not sure how to size that up yet.

TripleOG
Yea definitely got more competition this year. Upperman, Nolensville and White House. Should make for a better November Run hopefully.

They have a good QB but I think you'll beat Upperman and White House.

You blew smoke on 2 threads about how much better GVille was than the other 2 teams. Whether intentional or not your opinion of their scrimmage performance was way overrated. Go back and read the posts.. I can assure you nothing was dripping. Again, all I said is that we looked better than the other 2 teams. No blowing smoke...just a couple of sensitive Chapel Hill fans. It will be alright, I promise...you don't have to play Watertown this year.
TheWacoKid
Im just plain excited to see how Watertown's season goes this year. Lots of youth and inexperience, hopefully they can step up for a solid first 3 games and grind it out this season.
